Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location: Lambeth

Contract Type: Full-Time from September

Salary: £90 + depending on experience

Our client school is seeking a motivated and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their Secondary team for the full academic year starting in September. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting the learning and development of the students, whilst gaining valuable experience in the field of education.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning and delivery of lessons under the guidance of the class teacher
  • Work with individuals or small groups of students to provide additional support and guidance
  • Help to monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher
  • Support the class teacher with administrative tasks such as preparing materials and marking
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings and training sessions as required

Requirements:

  • A strong passion for education and helping young people to achieve their potential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability

Experience of working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable, but not essential.
