Graduate Teaching Assistant
Five Education are working with a special needs school based in Bristol that are looking to recruit a Graduate to work as a Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis.
This role is to start in September 2023 on an initial temporary basis, with view to be employed permanently by the school from term 3 onwards of the next academic year.
Responsibilities and duties:
· Working with small groups/individuals, working from teachers plans, sometimes with other support staff
· Implement advice from SLT within everyday learning
· Supervising as part of the class team, following agreed class expectations
· Provide positive reinforcement for appropriate behaviour/approach to learning
. Lead activities as appropriate
. Attend to the day to day needs of children, inside and outside the classroom
Essential Criteria:
. Degree in a transferable sector
· 2 years worth of references
· A current DBS/Police check or willingness to obtain one
· Able to work between 08.30-15.30 5 days a week
