Graduate Surveyor

A London based Investment and Asset Management firm are seeking a Graduate Surveyor to join their Asset Management team.

The role will work closely with the Head of Asset Management by providing day-to-day and strategic management across their portfolio. The portfolio is spread across the South East of England and consists of multi-let industrial, shopping centre, high street retail, office, mixed use and leisure assets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Undertake all aspects of day-to-day property management.
• Manage the marketing and viewings of void properties.
• Liaise with leasing agents and consider the best new lease terms.
• Appoint and manage contractors on CAPEX and refurbishment works.
• Understanding of L&T legislation (e.g. alterations, assignments, lettings, renewals and rent reviews).
• Build strong relationships with tenants, internal stakeholders and external consultants.
• Prepare annual service charge budgets and compile monthly performance reports.

Candidate requirements:

• Degree or Masters in Real Estate or Property.
• Degree placement year/work experience within the Real Estate market.
• Ability to work as part of a small team and learn quickly.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Commercially minded.

Salary from £30,000 - £40,000 per annum plus APC support.

Office based in Central London (4 days in the office, 1 day working from home).
