Full-time, Permanent Position in Birmingham City Centre.

An exciting and fast-growing Business Development organisation is looking for a highly professional and capable individual to join their team in Birmingham city centre. This role allows the successful candidate to hybrid from the office and at home. Part of this varied role requires visiting business both inside and outside the UK in order to assess the business’ viability for development.

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role include:

Conducting independent research.

Proactive

Expanding the prospects database in the UK and Ireland, identifying appropriate companies.

Initiate outbound calls to businesses.

Emailing and using social media to communicate and connect with targeted businesses.

Use marketing and CRM data to build relationships with stakeholders.

Conduct sales development practices to connect with appropriate prospects.

The successful candidate will need to have the following skills and attributes:

Graduate level degree preferably in business, finance, economics management or accounting.

Ability to work within a team and individually.

Proactive approach to work.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

An interest in business.

Solid IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
