Plug Me In is part of the Calisen Group who is a leading owner and manager of essential energy infrastructure assets. As well as a provider of meter installation, meter reading, electric vehicle (EV) charging, maintenance and ancillary services, whose purpose is to accelerate the development of a cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable energy segment. EV charging will reinforce Calisen’s role in helping to roll-out energy transition assets in support of reaching net zero.

Are you ready to kick-start your career and make a real impact? We're looking for a dynamic and analytical mind to join our team as a Graduate Data and Insights Analyst at Plug Me In. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in driving informed decision-making and enhancing operational performance through the power of data and insights.

As a Graduate Data & Insights Analyst, you’ll be employed on a permanent, full-time basis, committing to 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Our working arrangement is hybrid, offering flexibility and a better work-life balance. You’ll have the convenience of working from home most days, with the requirement to commute to our office in Wigan at least twice a week. The salary for this role is competitive and will be discussed with the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Extraction Excellence

  • Utilise your skills to efficiently extract valuable data from central systems, ensuring integrity throughout the process.
  • Dive deep into data structures using cutting-edge tools and techniques.

Centralising Data for Informed Decisions

  • Collaborate with diverse teams to identify data sources and develop strategies for centralisation.
  • Streamline reporting processes to enhance accuracy and facilitate comprehensive analysis.

Data Management and Quality Assurance Mastery

  • Maintain data integrity by ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Implement data governance frameworks to derive high-quality insights.

Statistical Analysis for Performance Optimisation

  • Apply advanced statistical techniques to analyse data and identify trends.
  • Translate findings into actionable insights for performance management.

Crafting Impactful Reports and Visualisations

  • Develop visually appealing reports and visualizations to communicate complex data effectively.
  • Ensure stakeholders understand insights through clear and engaging presentations.

Commitment to Continuous Learning

  • Stay updated on industry trends and tools in data analysis.
  • Actively seek growth opportunities and contribute to a knowledge-sharing culture.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support

  • Work closely with various teams to understand their data requirements.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and data-driven decision-making.

Championing Data Privacy and Security

  • Adhere to data privacy regulations and implement robust data protection measures.
  • Handle sensitive data responsibly to maintain a secure environment.

What we are looking for

  • Recent Graduate in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, or similar.
  • Experience using Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar analytics software.
  • Analytical mindset, and able to disseminate data and present to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong communication skills.
