Tradewind Recruitment Cardiff are on the hunt for a passionate Grade 3 Teaching Assistant to work in a Secondary School in Kenfig Hill. The role requires someone to teach lessons Monday to Friday in a Learning resource Classroom.

In this role, you are required to:

  • 25 hours per week
  • 1-1 Support in a Year 7 class
  • Covering lessons set out by Head of Resource Base
  • Lessons start at 9.10 - 3.10pm
  • Work 1-1 with children, ensuring they reach maximum potential
  • Creating learning resources
  • Checking pupil's work and providing feedback
  • Supporting pupils with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Prepare the classroom before lessons

The school ensures that each student reaches their maximum potential by providing engaging and interactive lessons, and always encourage questions throughout the lessons. It has amazing transport links with a bus stop nearby as well as parking if you drive. Excellent hourly rate of pay. This role is long term until the end of the academic year.

  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, EWC, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
