Salary: £12.22 per hour

Job Type: Full time, permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 - 4.30 with half hour unpaid lunch. 40 hours per week, plus some overtime

Position Available: From Monday 1st April

About the role:

This hands-on position carries many different duties and responsibilities and plays a very important part of the EmTech Hatchery Systems operation. As the Goods In operator, your main role is to support all activities concerning the movement of goods into the EmTech premises. Other general warehouse duties will be undertaken being a part of the overall warehouse team duties as and when required.

Please note, an FLT license and experience in a Goods In position is essential for candidates to have.

Chief Responsibilities:

• Fully responsible for all goods inwards from internal & external customers
• Safe use of the counter-balance forklift trucks
• Ensure daily targets are met and effectively carry out the key processes of the department
• Accurate data entry into the computerised stock control systems
• Assist with preparation and despatch of finished goods

Other tasks & duties not specifically listed above may form part of your daily routine and may vary from time to time as required and as the role develops.

About you:

You will need to:

• Have a valid Counterbalance FLT licence (dated within the last 3 years)
• Use appropriate IT systems in order to maintain stock accuracy
• Have a methodical approach to decision-making
• Have commitment to team working
• Be safety conscious
• Be flexible
• Have good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Be able to follow instructions

Essential Skills:

• Previous warehouse experience
• FLT licence
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Excellent numeracy
• Experience as a Good In Operative
• Full UK driving licence
• Have own transport.
