The role:

6 month contract role.

As the Global Sales Enablement Specialist you will ensure our sales teams have the information, content, resources, tools and skills to enable our global partner teams to become trusted growth advisors to our accounting and bookkeeping partners. This is a real opportunity to take what has been started in the sales education space and put your own mark on it, to develop a best in class educational framework, curricula and content for the global partner sales teams.

You will have the opportunity to

  • Assess where the gaps are in the sales business unit and understand where levers can be pulled to optimise across all sales education, globally.

  • Design and facilitate coaching programs to support sales managers in employee skill development.

  • Collaborate with functional teams to coordinate specific training briefs on product and program updates.

  • Work with the relevant business unit to develop and facilitate training for product launches.

  • Create maintenance cycle for all sales training programs to ensure new "need to know" information and emerging learning trends are incorporated into content.

  • Build on existing frameworks to continue to refine the operating model to deliver best-in-class, effective, scalable sales training and content.

  • Produce and write materials for core training on Xero products and sales skills.

  • Facilitate webinars and face to face sessions with groups or individually sometimes.

  • Work closely with product managers, product owners or product marketers to be able to write highly effective educational material

  • Assist with sales events and initiatives to support the participation and completion of education.

  • Attend regular product updates and provide internal training events for enablement and sales teams

In order to be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong project management and planning skills

  • Exceptionally customer focused with outstanding communication skills

  • Experience with LMSs

  • Experience in the production of educational material and course structure

  • Proven high-level training/teaching skill

  • Experience with curriculum and course design and creation as well as designing learning and development pathways

  • Experience in training and creation of training materials

As well as loads of initiative, ability to collaborate along with passion, a desire to make a difference and a love of all things education will help you success in this role.
