The Global Finance Controller will play a pivotal role in guiding strategic financial decisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing financial performance across the company's global operations.

Description

  • Oversee global financial performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goal
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Work closely with the Accounting & Finance department to optimise financial operations
  • Engage in financial forecasting and risk analysis
  • Participate in budgeting and resource allocation
  • Support the business in making strategic financial decisions
  • Proactively own the consolidation of the performance narrative, return on investments, risks/remediation, including challenging regions on their actual results and forecasted assumptions, suggesting explanation of numbers, identifying trends & root causes, etc
  • This role provides accountability on strategic collaborations such as building financial scenarios on global category management and participating in globally led activities including the evaluation of procurement income strategies and the development of analytics to bring external market insights into the team.
  • Build, interpret and communicate Total Cost of Ownership models, review new or renegotiated contract financials and pricing mechanisms.

Profile

A successful Global Finance Controller should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role leading strategic finance initiatives
  • A strong understanding of financial strategies and performance management
  • Process-oriented and organized individual with emphasis on strong analytical skills, diligence, accuracy, attention to detail and respect of deadlines.
  • Individual who can work proactively and plan effectively, be agile with systems and data management
  • Ability to work transversally without authority, liaison with the regions and top management
  • Leadership qualities in a multi-cultural environment, strong communication and presentation skills
  • Flexible and pragmatic, able to deal with complexity
  • 15+ years post qualification experience
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
