Job Title: German speaking Supply Chain Coordinator             

Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 (DOE)

Location: Staffordshire                    

Type: Permanent

Hours: Mon - Thurs: 7.30am - 4.30pm/ Friday: 7.30am - 3pm

The role

We are currently representing a fantastic global solutions provider based in the heart of Staffordshire who are seeking an experienced and passionate Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team. Due to the company having a global presence, we are actively looking for someone to join the team who is fluent in both German and English.

As the Supply Chain coordinator, you will be responsible for building excellent working relationships with suppliers, customers and have the experience to raise quotes and manage costings for the Business. With a technical ability, you will have a commercial mindset with practical operations skills to join the team.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• The warehouse operations of this position include implementing logistic strategies, tracking goods from the origin point to the warehouse and monitoring deliveries
• The purchasing aspect of the position includes selecting, grading and creating contracts with new suppliers, and managing existing relationships.
• Price, lead time, warranty and payment negotiations
• Analysing the supply chain data and solving any issues and putting alternative plans in place

Skills and experience sought :

• Fluent in both German and English
• Previous experience of working in a Supply Chain role
• Ability to build and maintain working relationships
• Excellent communication skills
