Geography Teacher

Geography Teacher required for " Good" Secondary School in Birmingham, who have an excellent reputation and looking to appoint a Geography Teacher for September 2024. The school is looking for someone with an engaging and positive attitude and the ability to integrate well within the existing team. The school has a very structured training and development programme, have good staff retention, and offer good promotional prospects. If you are either looking for the next step in your career or a first step through the door, then this school could be the one for you.  

Ideally will be:-

 Has demonstrated achieving an improvement in results, particularly at GCSE level 
  • Has a real love for Geography with a special gift of communicating that passion. 
  • Are dynamic, innovative, self-motivated and able to inspire others. 
  • Have the ability to teach outstanding lessons across the age and ability range. 
  • Are committed to raising standards of attainment and developing the success of the department. 
  • Have some experience of teaching A’ Level or would like to develop expertise in this area. 
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and demonstrates reflective practice through the high expectations they have of themselves and the students.
