Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver high-quality Geography lessons to students across various key stages.
  • Engage in instructional coaching and evidence-informed practice to continually develop teaching skills.
  • Contribute to the development of the curriculum and teaching resources.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and tailored support.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to the forward-thinking ethos of the department.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Geography or a related subject.
  • A passion for Geography and a commitment to academic excellence.
  • A willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to the Academy’s ethos, vision, and values.
