Geography Teacher

Long term Geography teacher required for popular school in Bracknell starting in Jan 2024

We are currently working with a well-established and reputable secondary school in Bracknell, Berkshire, that is looking for a qualified and experienced geography teacher to join their team from January 2023.

The school is rated Good by Ofsted and has a strong and supportive leadership team. The geography department is well-resourced and dynamic, offering a broad and engaging curriculum to students of all abilities. The school has a diverse and inclusive student body and a positive and respectful learning environment.

As a geography teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential. You will also be expected to contribute to the wider school community and participate in professional development opportunities.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

Relevant degree in geography or related subject

Proven track record of teaching geography at KS3 and KS4 level

Excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one

This is a long-term position, starting in January 2023 and lasting until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. The pay rate is competitive and negotiable depending on your experience and qualifications.
