 Geography Teacher - Bracknell

Reed Education is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a high-performing and well-respected secondary school in Bracknell. This is a full-time position starting in January 2024.

About the role:

As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities. You will be part of a dynamic and supportive Humanities department, where you will collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and develop resources. You will also contribute to the wider life of the school, by participating in extracurricular activities, pastoral care and professional development. 

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

A relevant degree and a recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)

Experience of teaching Geography at KS3, KS4 and KS5

A passion for your subject and a desire to inspire and motivate students

A creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning

High expectations of yourself and your students

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development

A willingness to support the Christian ethos of the school
