8am - 5pm Monday to Friday
Temporary to permanent

The Role of a General Operator:
We are currently seeking a General Operator to join our client in Overton. This role will involve carrying out yard duties in a woodwork environment. If you have a passion for working with wood and enjoy hands-on tasks, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities of a general Operator:

  • To assist in the manufacturing of bespoke timber products
  • To carrying out handballing / labouring duties
  • To use power tools / industrial wood machinery to cut and assembly timber frames
  • Load / unload machines with timber
  • Carrying out general housekeeping duties around the yard / workshop


The Candidate

  • Ability to set up production machinery
  • Ability to lift heavy materials
  • Have a reliable work ethic and willing to work as part of a small team
  • Experience with timber would be advantageous
