Job Title: General Labourer and Escort
Salary: Circa £25,000 per annum
Location: Lakenheath
Hours: 07:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday (with occasional Saturday and Sunday working required)

As a General Labourer and Escort, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Assisting with site setup, including temporary fencing and site cleaning.
  • Supporting minor building works and demolitions.
  • Transporting materials and equipment from our central compound to various sites on base.
  • Meeting delivery drivers and subcontractors at base entry gate.
  • Obtaining temporary base access passes from base security forces.
  • Escorting delivery drivers and subcontractors to relevant sites.
  • Escorting individuals off base when required.
 
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in general labouring.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends and overtime as required.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a high-level security clearance and pass standard DBS requirements.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to undergo a base driving test.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and schedules.
