Are you a qualified Heating Engineer?

Do you current ACS accreditation?

Do you have a valid UK driving licence?

Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Gas Safe registered Domestic Gas Service/Heating Engineer to join their team based in York on an interim basis with the potential for the role to go from temp to perm.

You will require carry out day to day repairs, fault finding and annual servicing to domestic gas appliances in occupied properties. You must be competent in boiler servicing, maintenance and breakdown as well as providing Landlord Gas Safety Certificates. You should be punctual, polite and have good written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements for the role include:

Gas Safe Accreditation

NVQ level 3 (Plumbing & Heating) qualified or an equivalent recognised national qualification

Current ACS accreditation to include CCN1, CEN1 or CENWAT, CPA1, HTR1, CKR1

Valid UK driving Licence

Although not essential the following qualifications would also help: Part P, Part L, Asbestos Awareness, Working At Height and Manual Handling.

In return, you will have a competitive rate of pay and holiday pay.

You’ll be provided with a work vehicle, PDA Tablet (with fully confirmed job appointments), mobile phone, Calibrated Gas Flue Analyser and PPE equipment.

Hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.00pm and Friday 8.00am - 3.30pm.
