Kirkside House is an enhanced community residential home providing outcome-focused care for adults with learning disabilities, who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs.

We have a new post for a Gardening Assistant based at Kirkside House in Leeds. We are looking for someone who is:
  • Able to work in adverse weather conditions as Gardening is open all year round
  • Able to be diverse in their approach and support residents according to care plans
  • Able to take lead when gardening lead is on annual leave
  • Is positive in their approach and good communication skills with colleagues and residents.
  • No gardening experience is necessary
  • Able to complete health and safety tasks and residents ‘end of shift report’
Important information:
  • Must be able to work full time between the hours of 8am and 4pm Monday-Friday (including bank holidays)
  • MUST hold a uk driving licence
  • Wage: £7.90ph or £9.10ph in the absence of the Gardening Lead
