Hooray are delighted to have been retained by Read For Good to recruit a Fundraising Officer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis! Read for Good is a national charity, proudly nurturing a love of reading within schools, communities and hospitals.

As a Fundraising Officer, you will:

  • Act as the first point of contact for the individuals who support us, through emails, phone and face to face contact
  • Proactively identify, research, evaluate and pursue community fundraising opportunities
  • Develop and manage relationships with companies that support us, to ensure out partnerships are promoted and income is maximised
  • Provide administrative support for to the whole fundraising function, including logging individual donations

To be successful as a Fundraising Officer, you will:

  • Be passionate & ambitious about a career in the charity sector
  • Have experience in fundraising (either paid or voluntary)
  • Be interested in professional development and enhancing learning
  • Be computer literate and able to work with a variety of programmes

In return, we are offering an annual salary circa £26,000 per annum. Please note, this is a full-time (35 hours a week), permanent position.
