Harris Hill are very pleased to be working with an exceptional and unique children's charity to recruit a Fundraising Manager. As a result of a recent increase in media attention and funding, this newly created position will manage their fundraising income, activity and strategy moving forwards. This is an opportunity to join a fantastic team and have a significant and tangible impact on the future of this lovely small charity.
Please note: this is a part time position, working 3 fixed days/week.
Key responsibilities include:
+ Developing and implementing fundraising strategy
+ Managing Fundraising budget, setting income targets and designing fundraising campaigns
+ Managing fundraising activity around challenge events, family events and corporate relationships
+ Maintaining excellent relationships with all supporters, including regular communications and "thanking"
+ Working very closely with the wider team to achieve overall charity objectives
The ideal candidate will:
+ Have a fundraising background and an understanding of different income streams
+ Have experience of creating and implementing a fundraising strategy
+ Be able to spot opportunities and create activity to maximise fundraising
+ Be able to maintain and update a database, creating reports as necessary
+ Have a "can do" attitude and able to work effectively with all team members
