Are you an existing Construction Development Monitoring Surveyor or a Chartered Building Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor or Project Manager with a desire to specialise in this ever growing service line?

Our client is a leading multi-disciplinary bulding consultancy established for over 200 years. Working on world-renowned projects they are sought-out by clients as they conitunally produce results. They now have a new opportunity for a Construction Development Monitoring Surveyor to join their specialist London based team.

The ideal canddiate will likely be an ambitious Chartered Surveyor with a QS/BS background and ideally a minimum of 12 months experience in a development monitoring. They are also open to meeting a wide range of levels, from recently qualified up to Senior and Associate level.

However candidates with a clear intention to transition into development monitoring will also be considered provided they possess a good understanding of the role of an independent monitoring surveyor. The successful candidate will have a focus on delivering service excellence and proactive project monitoring solutions. As this is a vey client facing role, you will need excellent inter-personal skills and be able to demonstrate high level communication and technical skills.

The successful candidate will be involved in the provision of the full range of development monitoring services, including regular liaison with the Client’s appointed professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Review and appraise costs
  • Review programme, procurement and technical reports
  • Highlight and advise on project risks, risk transfer and compliance with requisite Funder/ Bank security.
  • Write high quality reports that express opinions clearly
  • Candidate will be required to travel to sites and may be required to work from other regional offices from time to time.
