Position Overview:
We are seeking an innovative Full Stack Developer with a rich specialisation in Python and JavaScript and a robust understanding of AWS services, Docker containerization, and GitHub version control. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing our integrated digital platform, enhancing end-to-end operational transparency, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in supply chain logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft full-stack solutions using Python and JavaScript, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality.
  • Design and develop robust, scalable backend services with AWS cloud infrastructure, enhancing system reliability and efficiency.
  • Implement containerization strategies with Docker to ensure a consistent and secure environment for application deployment.
  • Utilize GitHub for version control, maintaining a clear history of code changes and facilitating collaborative development.
  • Build and improve frontend interfaces that deliver intuitive user experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect systems that support predictive analytics and intelligent forecasting within the supply chain context.
  • Uphold and advance our commitment to sustainable and environmentally conscious development practices.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay ahead of technological advancements and bring innovative solutions to complex problems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or in a related field.
  • Extensive experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a concentration in Python and JavaScript.
  • Proficiency with AWS cloud services, providing evidence of complex system development and deployment.
  • Demonstrable experience with Docker for containerization and orchestration of services.
  • Solid experience with GitHub for source code management and collaborative team work.
  • Deep understanding of modern frontend and backend frameworks.
  • Excellent comprehension of database management and microservices architecture.
  • Strong commitment to writing efficient, clean, and commented code.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and to learn quickly as part of a dynamic team.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
