Front of House Officer

The Vacancy:

One of the UK’s leading suppliers of facilities and security solutions across the public and private sectors now have an opportunity for 3, experienced Front of House Officers to join their team. Your primary function will be to deliver exceptional service and assist the front of house team as part of the building security solution in their trendy, recently refurbished Multi-Tenanted offices in Central London.

What are they asking for?

As Front of house officer, you will provide a front-of-house and security service; you will be responsible for the security, safety and welfare of the buildings staff and visitors. Your primarily role will be to make sure all staff entering the building show their ID when entering. Also, to greet all visitors entering the building and assist them to the reception area to book in. As a Front of House officer, you will ensure all security measures are adhered to always and have a good working relationship with the reception team. Due to the requirements of this role, candidates must also have a five-year checkable work history as well as previous experience of providing a reception and security service in a Corporate environment.

What are they offering?

  • £12.50 per hour

  • 42 Hour week (4 on 4 off) rolling roster

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome visitors, ensuring that they sign in and out

  • Conduct internal and external patrols of the building

  • Manage the access and egress of people into the premises

  • As a Front of House Officer, you must have excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a team player mentality are also key.

  • Ensure all instructions, both written and verbal are adhered to.

  • Ensure all guests are greeted and assisted where needed.

  • Carry a radio always, whilst on duty.

  • Report any issues to the Front of House Manager.

  • Conduct themselves in a professional manner always.

  • Have their SIA license with them and displayed always.

  • Control all aspects of access and egress to the building.

  • Cover reception duties out of hours.

  • Issue access cards for out of hour’s guests.

  • Answer the phone in a polite and professional manner.
