Front End Developer

My client is looking for an experienced Frontend React Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. Your role will be to support the IT department with the design and growth of internal systems.

My clients IT department is developing several internal systems which you will be supporting. The systems have been developed from scratch and will each evolve over time. Your role will be to assist the team with the current structure and help with the development of any future projects.

You will also be responsible for supporting the wider teams with the day to day use of all Microsoft applications.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Utilize React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and CSS to design and build user-responsive web applications, focusing on frontend functionality.
• Work closely with backend developers to ensure seamless integration.
• Establish and manage DevOps pipelines, incorporating tools like Git, Docker, and AWS (EC2, EKS, or Jenkins).
• Automate tasks to streamline processes and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews and actively contribute to enhancing the performance and maintainability of web applications.
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies to facilitate efficient project management and timely delivery.

Ideally, candidates will have at least 2 years of experience building web applications with React and be familiar with the following: Java 11+, Spring-boot, TDD, Microservices, AWS, Docker, Github.

Working hours for this role are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.

In return, you will be given a basic salary of between £22,000 - £25,000 depending on experience, with 28 days holiday including bank holidays, free parking on site and company events.
