We are recruiting a French-speaking Sales Manager to sell services to large companies in France. You would be following up enquiries and developing your own leads to identify new clients and tenders in a variety of regulated sectors.
You would be using your business development skills to identify and follow up opportunities with organisations in France selling support services for business.
You would be used to dealing with senior executives and key decision makers in a consultative way over a long sales cycle to build long term relationships with people from different cultures. You will need to present in front of clients at conferences and on visits but this is not a field based role and you would be working mainly from the offices in Chippenham.
With a basic salary of £35,000 plus significant uncapped commission and benefits, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company based in Chippenham but expanding across the world focusing on Europe in this role.
Working as part of a small existing international team in a relatively large and growing company, you would:
Generate leads and make first contact with large organisations
Identify and convert business opportunities in France
Identify and support tenders for services
Identify and convert additional sales opportunities for existing customers
Develop and maintain existing client relationships
Attend seminars and conferences to represent the company and build networks.
Ideal for a proactive networker with experience of working with French businesses, dealing with senior people and selling services.
You must have:
Very high level written and spoken French and English
Experience of French business culture
Experience of working with top level decision makers to achieve sales
The ability to work in a consultative way
Gravitas in front of a client.
Experience of prospecting and developing sales leads

The offices are based on a business park in Chippenham. Close to the M4 it is within easy reach of Bristol, Malmesbury, Cirencester, Swindon, Bath, Frome or Trowbridge.
This is a full-time Monday to Friday 9-5 office-based role. Some flexibility will be required as the role will involve some occasional overseas travel.
