Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a hardworking, conscientious Teacher of French and Spanish, to join a thriving secondary academy in Oldham, to start after the Easter break, in April 2018, until the end of the academic year. This is a full time, long term role paying up to £150 a day.
We are recruiting on behalf of a large secondary academy, which caters for students from 11 -16 years old. The academy creates an inspirational environment, where innovative and creative learning is encouraged, in state of the art facilities. This OFSTED 'Good' secondary academy are looking for a MFL Teacher who can teach across all Key Stages and who has excellent subject knowledge. You must be a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role. You will need to be a collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of the subject through inventive approaches including curriculum design and the use of ICT. You will also need to be able to create a safe and supportive learning environment through sound behaviour management.
The role will include teaching French and Spanish to KS3 students. The Year 9 students will be covering some of the KS4 syllabus though, as they begin their preparation for GCSEs at an earlier stage. Ideal candidates will have strong curriculum knowledge and will ensure that the lessons he/she delivers are of excellent quality using appropriate behaviour management techniques, whilst ensuring that the students are having fun!
The school is based in Oldham, with excellent public transport links and ample parking is available.
