My client is looking for a Freight Forwarder to join their team! If you have previous experience as a Freight Forwarderor a similar role, and are looking to join a reputable company, then LOOK NO FURTHER!

The ideal candidate will preferably have prior experience in the freight industry and ideally with a forwarding and logistics background. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Obtaining rates from suppliers and issuing quotations and answering general enquiries relating to air, sea and road import and export movements.
• Organising and coordinating the international movement and delivery of goods for our customers.
• Monitoring shipments to ensure goods are loaded to expected flights/vessels, and update customers.
• Communicating with customers in order to determine their service requirements.
• Instructing suppliers on the completion of Bills of Lading and Air waybills, and checking documents for accuracy prior to departure
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure that customer requirements are communicated and met.
• Ensure that all administration (including pricing and costing) is completed accurately.
• Ensure that all information is input on to the system accurately.
• Administrative tasks as required.

Experience Required:

• Experience/exposure to freight forwarding, ideally within sea freight or air freight environments.
