Forklift Operative/Van Driver
  • Hourly Pay: £13ph (£27,040 per annum)
  • Location: Blagrove, Swindon, SN5
  • Job Type: Temporary (Potential for permanent position)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm
  • Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for a diligent Forklift Operative/Van Driver to join our team of 6 in Blagrove, Swindon. The role involves loading and transporting equipment between warehouses, with no heavy lifting required. A driving licence is essential for this position, and while a forklift licence is not mandatory, it is preferred.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Load vans with equipment and products, ensuring safe and secure transportation.
  • Drive to the other warehouse, unload the van, and return.
  • Handle materials such as wires and cable reels without heavy lifting.
  • Input data onto Excel for customer returns, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work efficiently and support the team by getting tasks done promptly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Valid driving licence (maximum of 3 points, no points preferred).
  • Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.
  • Confidence in using Excel for data entry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to focus on tasks.
