Forklift Driver

The Company

• MTrec are currently recruiting for a specialist distribution firm based in the Newcastle area

The Role

• Based at the end of the one of the machines labelling primarily
• Involved in packing, labelling and shrink wrapping pallets
• Manually batching and labelling packaging goods prior to dispatch
• Transporting products within the manufacturing area
• Operation of a counter balance forklift truck for transporting materials within the warehouse
• Stock control, stock rotation and material movement
• Working within goods in and organizing materials to be transported within the warehouse and distribution area
• Cleaning and maintenance of equipment, and adhering to a clean as you go process
• Reporting any equipment faults to the maintenance department

The Person

• Reporting any equipment faults to the maintenance department
• Previous experience within manufacturing or warehouse would be advantageous however not essential
• Must be comfortable working both individually and in a team.
