My client is based in Uxbridge and seeking a fully qualified Forklift driver to join their team.

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Salary: 27k
  • Hours - Early and Late shifts. Can be flexible.

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be certified and experienced in operating a variety of forklifts, including Counterbalance, Reach, and Bendi. This role is crucial for the efficient handling and movement of goods within our warehouse environment.

Day to day of the role:
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move goods around the warehouse.
  • Load and unload deliveries from vehicles, ensuring accurate and timely handling of materials.
  • Stack and store goods in designated areas, using forklifts with various attachments.
  • Perform daily equipment checks, such as recharging the forklift’s battery and lubricating equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse.
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
  • Help maintain inventory by properly identifying goods and updating records.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Valid certification for Counterbalance, Reach, and Bendi forklifts.
  • Proven experience as a forklift operator.
  • Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
  • Excellent physical condition and coordination.
  • Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment.
  • Good communication skills.
