Are you a forensic engineer or similar, ready to advance your career in a highly autonomous role, as you lead the investigation of catastrophic damages, following anything from natural disasters to explosions, where you will take on a senior role, reviewing the scene after structural failures, for an international company, which are transitioning into the UK market, who value their team highly and will supply you with any additional training?

Have you got a strong understanding of the operational and construction facilities risk, ready to take that industry knowledge and apply it when diagnosing failures within electrical, mechanical, and electrical systems and processes, in this remote role which will include international travel, where no day will look the same as you work alongside global industry-leading clients?

On offer is the opportunity to work for a specialist international engineering consultancy, who provide expert damage assessments and estimates on all types of property damage caused by accidental and non-accidental events on various structural types. You will be in a crucial role, helping them to grow their UK branch, where you will play a pivotal role in offering vital solutions.

The Role:

• Applying engineering principles when investigating the failure of materials, products and structures
• Be able to identify mechanical and electrical malfunctions and failures
• Collecting data related to failed materials, products, structures or components
• Collecting evidence and measurements, developing models and obtaining exemplar products
• Responsible for building their client base and growing their business
• Writing detailed reports and correspondence with insurance companies
• Assists in criminal investigations and legal cases
• Travel internationally

The Person:

• A Forensic Engineer or similar
• Experience working on generation plants or construction sites
