Food Technician - SEND School

Job Title: Food Technician - SEND School Support Roles in Sutton

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking reliable and skilled Food Technicians to support SEND schools across Sutton. These are full-time, long-term roles, ideal for individuals with experience in food preparation and a passion for supporting students with special educational needs.

The Role:
* Assist in the preparation and delivery of Food Technology lessons tailored to SEND learners
* Prepare ingredients, set up practical cooking activities, and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment
* Support students during food-based tasks, encouraging independence and engagement
* Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in food tech rooms and prep areas
* Monitor and manage stock, equipment, and kitchen supplies

What You'll Need to Succeed:
* Previous experience in a food technician, catering, or classroom support role
* Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures
* Experience supporting students with SEND (desirable but not essential)
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Two recent references and the right to work in the UK
