56 is a new and successful wine bar, selling fine wine and spirits.
The successful candidate will have waiting, and or, bartending experience, be motivated and keen to work in a new environment. Wine knowledge, and the love of wine is preferred, however full training is provided for all staff in a fun and interesting manor so do not be put off.
We rely on personality therefore all of our staff are encouraged to be themselves be proud of being professional, however work should still be fun.
The food offering is split between lunch and dinner service, however, this is not an á le carte restaurant. We are a wine bar and should be treated as such, food however is important and guests do come for the food. Daytime is very much light bites, gambas, pulled, pork, warm port chorizo etc. leading into an evening service of mainly charcuterie and cheese boards.
There is a possibility of live in as there are rooms above the bar, this is dependant on personal location.
