FLT / Warehouse Support Operative Needed - Join Our Team Today!

Location: Hebburn, with occasional work at our Jarrow facility

Position Type: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £12.50 - £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience), plus overtime at time and a half

Hours: Monday to Friday, 0800hrs to 1600hrs (with a half-hour lunch break)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating forklift trucks for loading and unloading trailers and containers.
  • Manual handling tasks including cargo securing and handball offloading.
  • Assisting with offloading cars from containers
  • Conducting local collections and deliveries using our 3.5t panel van
  • Completing computer work for booking goods in and providing holiday cover
  • Occasional work at our Jarrow facility for deliveries and collections

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience preferred, particularly in forklift operations
  • Valid FLT license/certification 
  • UK driving license with experience driving 3.5t vehicles required
  • Basic computer skills for data entry tasks
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
