Fleet Specialist (Van Driver/Mechanic)

Are you passionate about keeping vehicles on the road and ensuring smooth operations? My client is seeking a dedicated Fleet Specialist to join their team. As a Fleet Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and managing their fleet of vehicles in Cambridge. Your responsibilities will include:

Vehicle Diagnostics: Identify and diagnose issues with malfunctioning vehicles, recommending appropriate repair actions.
Logistics Management: Optimise vehicle routes, develop standard operating procedures (SOP), and minimise downtime.
Vehicle Deployment and Collection: Deploy, redistribute, and collect vehicles across the city, ensuring efficient utilisation.
Battery Swaps: Execute battery swaps in the streets, keeping their fleet powered and operational.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure safe and compliant deployment of vehicles, continuously improving rider safety.

What You'll Need to Embark:

We're looking for a motivated team player who can tackle tasks independently. If you're ready to take on this exciting role, here are the qualifications we seek:

Full UK Driving License: With a maximum of 6 points for minor offences and no major offences.
Mechanical Experience: Previous handling of tools and mechanical practices.
Digital Proficiency: Familiarity with digital work tools (e.g, apps).
Local Knowledge: Good understanding of Cambridge and experience driving in the city.
Adaptability: Ready to navigate your van through any weather and traffic conditions.

2 shifts available to choose from -
6am - 2pm £14.23 per hour
Or
7pm - 3:30am (£TBC will amend when confirmed but will be a higher rate than the day shift)
Full training provided!
6 Month initial contract.
Hub located in CB1 - Van provided.
