Fire Technician / Fire Restoration / Fire and Flood

Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Restoration Technician/Fire and Flood Technician to join our team in the Midlands area. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to fire and flood damage emergencies, assessing the extent of the damage, and performing restoration work to bring properties back to their pre-loss condition. Duties will include cleaning and sanitizing affected areas, removing debris, drying and dehumidifying spaces, and coordinating with insurance companies and property owners throughout the restoration process.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to emergency fire and flood damage calls in a timely manner
Assess the extent of damage and create restoration plans
Clean and sanitize affected areas
Remove debris and damaged belongings
Dry and dehumidify spaces
Communicate effectively with insurance companies and property owners
Document all work performed and materials used
Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
Adhere to safety standards and best practices at all times
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Fire Restoration Technician or in a similar role
Knowledge of fire and flood damage restoration techniques and equipment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience
Location: Midlands (Birmingham, Nottingham, Leicester, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Derby, Stoke-on-Trent, Lincoln, Telford, Northampton)
