Job Title: Fire Carpenter

Location: Littlemore Mental Health Centre, Sandford Road, Littlemore, Oxford, OX4 4XN

Shift Pattern: Monday- Friday 8am-4pm

Pay: £19.10 per hour

Our trust provides community health, mental health and specialised health services. We operate across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Swindon, Bath and North East Somerset (BaNES).

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Repair fire doors
  • Basic fire stopping of compartments
  • Replace fire doors
  • Complete building related works related to planned and reactive maintenance works including but not limited to doors, skirting, architrave etc, Windows & glazing, Flooring, Ironmonge, Fencing, External decking
  • Complete planned and reactive maintenance work.
  • Be responsible for delivery of small work project
  • Install new door sets from door blanks including all ironmongery.
  • Cover absences or demands/emergencies you must be prepared to carry out other general maintenance duties

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Substantial and significant estates maintenance expertise
  • Practical and theoretical building structure and fabric knowledge
  • Detailed knowledge of HTM/ HBN requirements in relation to estates management
  • Good knowledge of IT systems, CAFM workforce systems
  • HND in Building Survey or equivalent experience
  • City & Guilds Level 3
  • Knowledge of risk management
