Fine Art Technician / Driver

Our client, an innovative Fine Art Shipping Company, is currently seeking a Fine Art Technician / Driver to join their growing team based in Berkshire.

As the Fine Art Technician / Driver, you will pack and securely load Fine Art into trucks, ensuring they are safe for transport.

Main duties and responsibilities of Fine Art Technician / Driver:

• Pack artwork, utilizing appropriate materials and techniques to prevent damage during transit.
• Operate a variety of lifting equipment.
• Drive company vehicles, transporting fine art to various locations, such as galleries, museums, and private collections, while adhering to safety regulations.
• Liaise with clients, curators, and other team members to coordinate transportation logistics and address any special handling requirements.
• Complete all necessary paperwork, including inventory lists, condition reports, and shipping documentation.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and best practices when handling, packing, and transporting artwork.

The successful Fine Art Technician / Driver will have previous experience of Fine Art packing, handling transporting and installing, or experience within the Removals industry.

You must have a valid driver’s license, good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Skills required for the role:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well both in a team and independently.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as needed.
