Our client is an International logistics provider that offers bespoke solutions for art handling, installation and art transport. A trusted partner to leading artists, commercial galleries, collectors, and public museums worldwide.

The company are renowned for fantastic training, development of their staff via inhouse and external training courses and offer great support across the company for all members of staff.

They are now looking to for a Project Coordinator to join their busy team based in Hertfordshire.

They are looking for someone to be championing and supporting their processes to support the Technician Project Managers deliver the best service.

You will work within the projects team collaborating with clients, suppliers, and colleagues to help create the smooth running and success of the business and how the department contributes to these.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and coordination on large annual sculpture projects.
  • Coordination with internal departments, clients, and external contractors/agencies such as structural engineers, planning departments, suppliers etc.
  • Deliver on your own projects in line with department processes and goals.
  • Liaising with clients by offering first class customer service.
  • Estimating and quote preparation in line with project activity including services such as collection, delivery, storage and installation to name a few.
  • Input data onto software platforms and updating record keeping tools when required.
  • Researching and providing support to Project Managers on road closure, crane license and other relevant permit applications.
  • Booking of transport and/or accommodation for Project Managers.
  • Coordinate and communicate projects with clients in the museum sector, whilst developing schedules and carrying out administration tasks.
  • Preparing invoices, liaising with the Accounts team and support the month end invoice process.

Essential Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role as project coordinator or administrator.
  • Experience within the Visual Arts, Museum or Gallery sector would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Deep understanding of time management and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to develop a strong working relationship with all levels of employees and clients.
  • Strong written, verbal communication and numeracy skills.
  • Demonstrate an excellent attention to detail.
  • Problem solver and an ability to see where processes can be improved.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to plan workload and be flexible when required.
  • Exceptionally organised, methodical and detail oriented.
  • Customer Centric.
