An exciting opportunity to join an established and respected Independent financial advisers as an a member of their Operational Support Team.

This Independent, whole-of-market financial planning and investment management firm, offering services to personal, corporate and trustee clients was established over 100 years ago. The team is made up from highly qualified specialists in their own fields.

Offering a salary of £28,000 and Remote working available, this role will see you supporting the business to ensure novations are completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will be arranging provider access for advisers and their teams, ensuring ease of access and ability to obtain information and valuations, including e-valuations. Support firm integrations and provide ongoing operational support to the wider business.

The Role:

  • Onboarding and offboarding processes for ARs, acquisitions and other teams to ensure the onboarding journey is compliant and seamless
  • Central ownership of novations, agency and provider registrations and e-services; keeping stakeholders updated
  • Assist with the migration plan for each new firm with timescales and actions, agree plan with firms and internal stakeholders. Monitor and deliver the plan, escalating any issues as and when they arise.
  • Set up and monitor daily e-valuations ensuring teams are informed of issues so these can be resolved.
  • Provide guidance on the use of CRM systems in line with agreed processes, including e.g., IO, Curo, Dynamic Planner, Zoho, SmartSearch (experience/knowledge desirable)
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure enquiries are resolved within SLAs, keeping accurate records of interactions. ·
  • Complete provider forms and setup provider/platform agency accounts
  • Make calls to providers and verify requirements and requests.
  • Manage incoming calls and emails
  • Prepare and process mail merges for clients and providers
  • Resolve queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Assist and manage group projects
  • Provide CURO support to users
  • Support the wider Operations Support Team when required
  • Other duties as set by management as and when required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in FCA regulated environment
  • Evidence of using technology to assist in reaching business goals
  • Commercial and business awareness
  • Industry knowledge & product / regulatory development awareness
  • Extensive experience of the compliance function as it applies to asset management and the financial advice proposition
  • Experience of acquisitions is preferred
  • Good understanding of the systems and software required to manage advice-based businesses
