A well-respected global investment management firm is looking for an ACA/ACCA qualified Accountant with strong financial accounting and reporting experience to join their Finance team.

The company provides you with an exciting, challenging opportunity in a high performing team and your role will involve regular interactions with the business, requiring timely decision making. This firm offer great benefits and internal progression including strong bonus potential.

Your Role

• Managing the financial accounting and reporting team in the preparation of financial statements under US GAAP.

• Ensuring all the various entities prepare financial statements in line with local regulations.

• Monitoring the month end process and ensuring all controls are robust and adhered to.

• Implementing financial reporting procedural improvements as well as monitoring regulatory changes.

• Working closely with other finance teams as well as senior management across the business.

• Interacting regularly with external parties including auditors.

Your Skills and Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified with audit background and extensive US GAAP technical accounting knowledge. This experience can be gained ideally from financial services although those in a top 6 accountancy practice will be considered.

• Have first class communication and strong team management skills.

• Be organised and not afraid to challenge the status-quo.

They are offering £90-100,000 plus great benefits and bonus to the successful candidate.
