An award-winning Chartered independent financial planning practice in Southport, who prides themselves on providing excellent client service through long term financial planning, are looking to hire an experienced Administrator to support the Financial Advisers and Paraplanners.

They are currently seeking a Technical Administrator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of their technical administration team, where you will have exposure to all sides of the business, providing support to the advisers and technical team, as well as having client contact with an allocated client book.

In terms of benefits, they offer a competitive salary of up to £32,000, hybrid and flexible working, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, onsite parking, a 5% employer pension contribution, annual discretionary bonus, and an annual salary uplift in line with your development plan.

Responsibilities: 

  • Preparing meeting packs for Advisers
  • Production of illustrations, supporting documentation and application forms
  • Processing new business forms, proposals and supporting documentation
  • Process fund switches, withdrawals and assignments of policies
  • Contracts – administration of pension contracts (including SSAS, SIPP and personal pensions),
  • Supporting advisers with client meeting preparation which can include provider documentation or presentation reporting.
  • Office systems and administration – providing support with the development and maintenance of the standard operating systems of the firm including general day to day office administration.

To be considered: 

  • You must have experience working in an administrative capacity in an IFA firm.
