Boston Hale are hiring for a Financial Operations Manager for an organisation based in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will be qualified accountant with significant experience of financial operations.

  • Leading the day to day financial processing operations
  • Managing credit control, accounts payable, and income teams
  • Managing up to 20 members of staff
  • Promoting the redesign and implementation of changes to working practices and procedures, to meet legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Analyse trends to inform decision making on key financial strategies and policies
  • Providing monthly management information for all areas of responsibility
  • Taking responsibility for technical accounting entries in the ledger and compliance with accounting standards and applicable rules
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders
  • Maintaining and updating transaction processing policies
  • Identifying and making recommendations to improve value for money and financial control
