We're working with a high-growth manufacturing business seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller to play a pivotal role in their next phase of expansion.

Reporting directly to the MD, you'll be a key member of the senior leadership team - providing financial insight, owning reporting and forecasting, and helping shape strategic decisions at board level.

This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic business at the perfect time - early enough to make your mark, but with the momentum and investment behind it to scale fast.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full ownership of group reporting, month-end close and consolidation across multiple entities

  • Cash flow management, forecasting and scenario planning

  • Building and maintaining financial models for strategic decision-making

  • Partnering with the MD on investment cases, capex planning and long-term forecasting

  • Managing and developing a small but growing finance team

  • Leading process improvements and supporting finance system upgrades

  • Preparation of board packs and commentary, with regular input into strategic planning

Who You Are:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

  • Background in manufacturing or industrial sectors

  • Strong experience with group consolidation and multi-entity environments

  • Proven skills in cash flow forecasting and commercial modelling

  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence at MD/Board level

  • Hands-on, adaptable, and excited by change

Why This Role?
  • Direct influence on strategic decisions alongside the MD

  • Join a business in high-growth mode with M&A potential

  • Autonomy to shape the finance function

  • Future progression into an FD role as the business continues to scale
