Are you an experienced and detail-oriented finance professional looking for a challenging role in a dynamic small business environment? We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to play a pivotal role in managing and optimising financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all aspects of the company's financial management, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Analyse financial data and provide strategic insights to support decision-making.
- Develop and implement financial controls and processes to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and objectives.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Coordinate with external auditors and stakeholders as needed.

The Successful Applicant:

- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and objectives.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
