Simpson Judge have been engaged exclusively on a Financial Controller role on behalf of a Financial Services business in Liverpool City Centre. This role will sit as part of the Executive team and oversee the Finance function, including the execution of company strategy, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory reporting, and driving financial performance. Applicants are required to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience at a similar level, in a growing business.

Location: Liverpool City Centre (hybrid)
Salary: £70-80k DOE

Responsibilities:
* Providing strategic and financial advice to ensure financial commitments are met, specifically to ensure solvency, adequate liquidity, capital and the delivery of financial targets
* Development of systems, policies and procedures for cash, regulatory capital, debt and tax management
* Establishing procedures for monitoring cash, regulatory capital, debt, tax and dividend analyses
* Ensuring the integrity of the Group's financial information
* Overseeing the preparation of the annual report and accounts for Board approval.
* Preparation of the annual budget and monitoring actual vs predicted
* Ensuring compliance with the Regulatory Solvency Regime
* Monitoring changes in regulations and embedding compliance with all related regulatory requirements

Requirements:
* ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
* Experience in a regulated industry i.e. Financial Services/Insurance
* Experience managing a team
* Experience with financial and regulatory reporting
