Financial Controller

Are you a fully qualified Financial Controller who is looking to work for an ambitious and expanding organisation?

This is an excellent opportunity to join an exceptional company who have doubled in size with a fantastic track record. This role will be based in West London, the company are looking for a confident Financial Controller who will be an integral part of the Senior Leadership team.

You will have previous experience of working in a fast paced SME managing a small team controlling the day to day functions across the finance department.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
• Assist with monthly reviews, analysis and financial reporting
• Review and prepare Bank Reconciliation, cash forecasts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Budgeting, forecasting and P&L
• Weekly updated cashflow forecasting
• Cost control and analysis
• Assisting with bank reconciliations, for multi-currency accounts
• Reviewing and approve purchasing invoices input by Finance team
• Signing off bi-monthly payment runs and assist HR with payroll & pension
• Preparation and submission of quarterly UK VAT return and liaise with auditors
• Review weekly outstanding debtor report and report accordingly
• Ad-hoc duties as required.

Skills & Experience:

• At least 2 years’ experience of working in a similar role.
• Experience of working in a SME
• Ability to speak French would be an advantage but not essential
• Ability to prioritise, plan and organise work
• Previous experience managing a team
• Proficient with Excel
• Excellent attention to detail, and numeracy skills with excellent attention to detail
• An ACCA/CIMA or ACA qualification is essential
