Due to ongoing expansion, our clients are looking for a financial adviser to join for its wealth financial planning service. We are seeking an experienced Financial Adviser to play an integral part in the ongoing expansion of the business. This firm is led by a professional, experienced and established management team. Renumeration will include a bonus based on the retention and development of your portfolio.

There is flexible-working with this position and it is expected that you will drive, in order to be able to visit some clients face to face, in and around Essex, Greater London and the Southeast. Candidates can be based within the home counties with occasional visits to head office.

This role is integral to the future success of the department, and we are seeking a conscientious, thorough, and trustworthy person who shares our core values regarding customer service and has the relevant background for expert advice.

Your role will be to provide holistic advice to the clients within your portfolio and deliver tailored solutions across the areas of retirement, pensions, investments, protection, estate and wealth planning. You will benefit from administrative, technical and compliance support as well as being able to utilise cash flow forecasting software and the latest technology for investment formation and accessibility, both for clients and yourself. You also have the benefit of working with an equity release specialist if you wish to be involved with financial planning, care planning and equity release.

The role -

• Manage the end-to-end review process for a specific client segment

• Delivery of suitability reviews as required

• Provide regulated financial advice to clients

• Develop mastery of the skills necessary to provide an excellent client experience

• Write suitability letters

• Support the evolution of the team with process, people, and proposition

• Advise on Pensions, Investments, Protection

Clients are mainly retirees and over 50’s, HNW families and professionals

• To adapt as the team evolves

• Work with your Client Personal Assistant who will provide business and administration support from head office

Essential Skills -

• Qualified either Level 4 via CII or LIBF - both are acceptable

• Current SPS (Statement of Professional Standing)

• Currently CAS (Competent Adviser Status) with another Firm

• Proven experience in a client-facing advice role delivering holistic financial advice

• Understanding of financial planning and the advice process

• Strong customer service focus

• Fully conversant in Microsoft Office applications

• Experience with using Intelligent Office system

• 6 years satisfactory regulatory references

• Clean DBS check

Desirable Skills -

• Chartered or working towards Chartered status with the CII (or equivalent)

• Experience working in a telephone or virtual based advice role

• Experience working in a multi-platform business

The base salary will be £50,000 plus commissions with an expected OTE of £80k+
