Cambridgeshire & East Midlands (our Ref AL1275)

Salary £30,000 - £45,000 + bonus potential and benefits package

My client is an established Wealth Management organisation covering all aspects of wealth management, including investment, pensions, estate planning and mortgage finance. They provide a bespoke, holistic wealth management service to private clients and businesses to assist them to meet their long-term financial objectives.

They are now seeking an early-stage career Financial Adviser to initially cover maternity but to ultimately build their own client bank. The role will be based from the St Ives office but the successful candidate is expected to travel between sites and throughout the East Midlands region and beyond.

Financial Adviser - Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on all areas of financial planning
  • Conduct comprehensive review meetings to understand clients’ goals, objectives and financial needs
  • Develop effective sustainable relationships with clients, their families & professional connections
  • Analyse information, conduct research, maintain comprehensive records and prepare financial
  • planning reports
  • Grow client bank through effective and consistent business development activities
  • Maintain high level of personal development ensuring an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends,
  • regulations, and best practice
  • Work effectively with all colleagues to ensure smooth, efficient and value adding client experience
  • Contribute to a positive compliance culture by applying best practice at all times and delivering to
  • internal quality standards

Financial Adviser - Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in a client facing financial adviser role

• Qualified to Level 4 (Diploma) as a minimum, ideally working towards Level 6

• Highly organised, competent individual with positive attitude, approachable and enthusiastic

nature and high personal standards to deliver quality service

• Flexible and adaptable with strong work ethic and ability to work to agreed deadlines

• Energetic, highly motivated with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence

• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as being a team player

• Good IT literacy

Salary & benefits package:

• Salary range £30,000 - £45,000 (DOE), plus bonus potential

• 24 days holiday (in addition Bank Holidays)

• Pension (up to 7%)

• Permanent Health Insurance (after a qualifying period)
