Interim Financial Accountant

Location -  Maidenhead 

Duration -  9 -12 Month Fixed Term Contract 

Salary - £45,000 - £50,000 

4 days a week in the office. 

The Opportunity:

We are excited to share this opportunity as an Interim Financial Accountant, to join this thriving business based in Maidenhead. If you are a versatile professional with a strong financial accounting background, then I would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recording operating expense-related entries/payments into the general ledger
  • Accounting for accruals and prepayments
  • Preparing reconciliations
  • Preparing and distributing the monthly reconciliation tracker
  • Supporting the preparation of audit schedules and draft financial statements for subsidiary and branch accounts
  • Providing support on an ad-hoc basis across the team

Your Profile:

  • Ideally candidates will hold a bachelor's degree in accounting and/or hold or be working towards a relevant professional qualification.
  • Proven relevant accounting knowledge including knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proven analytical and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Prior experience with PeopleSoft/Oracle-based general ledger systems an advantage

  • £45,000 - £50,000 FTC
  • Hybrid Working - 4 days Office 1 Day from home.
